Playing any sport comes with rewards, however, it can come with some risks too and one of the main risks is injury. It is certainly not uncommon for our chiropractors in our busy clinic in Fareham to treat patients who are suffering the effects of sporting aches and pains. The sporting aches and pains our chiropractors see most frequently relate to the back, neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles.
Our chiropractors at Homewood Chiropractic Clinic are trained to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, and muscles). Many of our chiropractors are keen sports men and women themselves and have developed a special interest in treating athletes andminor sports injuries. Are Sporting Aches And Pains Stopping You?

Chiropractic treatment can be a safe and effective treatment for inor sports injuries.
When you visit our clinic, your chiropractor will carry out a comprehensive consultation and examination to determine how best to care for you. During the consultation your chiropractor will ensure you understand how and why we ask questions about your health, your sporting life and lifestyle. They will want to talk about your medical history and current health issues. After the consultation the chiropractor will carry out a thorough physical examination.
After completing the consultation and examination. your chiropractor will talk you through how we may be able to help you. A program of care will be explained to you (including costs) and we will agree on a path of care which you are comfortable with. Of course, any questions or concerns that you have will be answered. We may also discuss with you referring you onto another Health Professional who would be the most appropriate person to take care of you. If this is the case, we can discuss who may be most suitable for you and help you to see them as fast as possible.
