We are very pleased to be have welcomed a new addition to our experienced chiropractic team at Homewood in July – Joanne Kitchener.
Jo is a local girl from Southampton and comes to Homewood with an impressive background in all aspects of her life. Jo thrives on hard work and this along with her self-motivation has seen her gain success both in her career and her sporting endeavours.
We asked Jo to introduce herself …
“Following my first degree in Physiology and Nutrition, I graduated with distinction from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic winning awards for academic excellence and best research project. I was also awarded ‘student of the year’ for 3 years running – the only student to ever do so. I enjoy treating a wide range of people from all age groups, and have a keen interest in sports related injuries and developing plans for rehabilitation, that address the root cause of the complaint. I have a background in sports and have been a member of the Junior Olympic Ice Dance Team and a British and European Wushu Martial Arts Gold medallist. Whilst I no longer compete, I still enjoy training in Tai Chi as well as hiking and swimming. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and 2 dogs.”
We’re sure that Jo will be a valued member of our chiropractic team at Homewood.
